Scope
The default well-to-wake life cycle emissions values per feedstock and pathway used to claim CORSIA emissions reductions, in gCO2e/MJ. The aviation fuel baseline is 89 gCO2e/MJ, which differs from the RED III fossil comparator of 94 and the FuelEU Maritime baseline of 91.16. Percentage-reduction claims are therefore not comparable across the three frameworks even when the absolute values are.
