Partnership with CSSC Marine Power on Next-Gen Marine Engines

3Y Energy completed a working visit to CSSC Marine Power, a key industrial partner and one of the world's leading manufacturers of low- and medium-speed marine engines. CSSC Marine Power produces its own proprietary engines and operates licensed manufacturing for Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions) and WinGD Ltd.

The two companies are collaborating on the development of next-generation dual-fuel marine engines — a critical capability for enabling the shipping industry to adopt low-carbon alternative fuels and meet IMO decarbonisation targets. The CSSC Marine Power site is equipped to support the testing and delivery of a wide range of green fuels on large low-speed marine engines, including LNG, LPG, ethane, methanol, and ammonia.

Drawing on its deep-tech expertise and innovation base in Singapore, 3Y Energy is contributing to the manufacturing of these future-proof engines. The collaboration focuses on three core areas: green fuel injection technologies, engine digitalisation, and emission treatment systems.

The transition to zero-carbon shipping depends on close collaboration between technology developers and engine manufacturers. 3Y Energy looks forward to delivering further milestones with CSSC Marine Power in the months ahead.
