3Y Energy attended the Global Bunkering Rankings event in Zhoushan, China, where industry leaders gathered to review the latest trends across the world's leading bunkering ports.
Singapore retained its position as the world's leading bunkering port, recording 54.92 million tonnes of bunker sales in 2024. Zhoushan continued its rapid ascent and is on track to secure third place globally in 2025 — a notable achievement for a port that has scaled in only a few years.
A recurring theme at the event was Zhoushan's commitment to learning from Singapore in the digitalisation and decarbonisation of bunkering operations. Priority areas include the adoption of high-accuracy mass flow meters, online transaction platforms, and the development of a more efficient overall bunkering ecosystem.
3Y Energy looks forward to supporting Zhoushan Port on this journey, particularly in accelerating the adoption of sustainable marine fuels such as biofuels, methanol, and ammonia.
